Wheel Guru - Custom Wheel Building
Wheel Guru was established in 2008 by brothers Adam and Ryan Bonser to provide a local, friendly, custom wheel building service.
They both started working as mechanics in Oldham Cycle Centre, under the guidance of top mechanic and wheel builder Rob Barlow. It was here that they learned their trade from a very young age and with Rob's help became great mechanics in their own right.
They hold many manufacturer endorsements, as well as Cytech and DT Swiss Advanced Wheel building.
Whilst continuing to work as mechanics, they both raced professionally on the road for Recycling.co.uk and then Rapha Condor.
In late 2008 they decided to use their knowledge and experience to set up a local wheel building service so the name Wheel Guru was born and the business went to work in January 2009 based in Mossley, Ashton-under-Lyne,Tameside.In 2010 Ryan became a mechanic for the Great Britain Cycling Team travelling the world, leaving Adam to take the business forward.
Wheel Guru has quickly developed a reputation for the highest standard of quality hand built custom wheels, thanks to Adam's true obsession with bikes.
